This was the album that made me fall in love with Brandy.

She drew me in because she mentioned Aaliyah on turn it up, which I heard on a mixtape lol.

But then I heard Finally, I tried, Focus, 
nodding off, and Afrodisiac and it was an absolute wrap.  I was going around school playing I tried for anyone who would listen.

I remember quoting 'should I go' in my Grade 12 English paper; I was hooked. You also couldn't tell me she didn't kill the Afrodisiac video (which I found in shitty blurry quality online since it wasn't released in NA). A fucking mess.

I miss the dark, kinda edgy and moody side of brandy. The brandy that would reward careful listening.
