OMG she dug in and wouldn't come back out from the first 30 seconds 

this is excellent for him

not sure if anybody noticed, but he was developing a really braggadocious attitude as of late. His awards speeches are so ... blah and blah. it's basically

1. Look @ me and where I am
2. a story about mama being a crackhead
3. a story about hanging with all old women growing up
4. and topped off with how all his hard work is why it happened for him

the ultimate "against the odds" story

Oh and then he throws Jesus into it to support that slave master notion of you have to suffer the most to come up the greatest, because black ppl can't get anything any other way right? More in particular I guess Jesus told him that dressing up like a old grumpy grandma that cusses and everything else, would make him rich 

and I mean ... congrats to him, but ppl supported you because they needed a cheap laugh, in which you exploited to make a coin. Not for everything you talking about. I mean, i just think ppl over complicate simple things when they make it

And then like she said, to turn around and not even provide outlets for writers in the  very demographic you targeted and profited from?

Same script , different cast at times with them shows 
So I definitely agree w/ the notion that improvement is needed quality wise


But at the same time  I think the bigger picture remains the same; & it is the fact that he's created such opportunity for us as a culture. And essentially helped keep it alive during a time when opportunities were lessening .

I think there's a certain amount of RESPECK needed on his name  for that reason alone .
And I was just a bit perplexed that we can sit up and watch & entertain shows that represent the culture in a not so good light ; but then Dog him out when he's actually helping push the culture in a forward manner.
