Our generation is different though. We just want to enjoy LIFE... without any age limitations or any kind of restrictions. My mom was married at 22... she's happily married, but she didn't get to experience a lot of things we're experiencing now and chase after some personal goals/dreams because she had a family and had to follow my dad's career. So I get why she wants that so hard for me (experiencing life) and not want me to jump into situations so quickly when we have the rest of our lives to be settle.

Me, my mom and brother was just talking about this the other night. She was saying how free we are and that Most of our generation aren't having kids. How gay people opened our eyes and everything is very acceptable and normal now. It really made me realize how free we really are, that we set our own goals and that we should live the life we picture for ourselves.

It's so amazing seeing our parents' growth, acceptance, and transitions into this new forward thinking mentality of our generation. Because it wasn't always like that. I think them seeing us so free and happy helps them understand and furthermore, support our journeys.

Yes because my whole family did an entire 360 when it came to the gay citizens. I was so surprised and grateful.
