Tyler is literally the microwave pop of the film industry.

The tv series it's whatever. But the movies are dome of the worst shits ever made.

Glad there are other black directors n film makers making waves and delivering QUALITY work.

Everyone doesn't indulge in fast food.

Ppl like tyler is why oscarsowhite is never changing.

I feel the opposite, his TV shows are absolutely disgusting to me but some of the movies are good:

WDIGM, Diary Of...., Family That Preys, For Coloured Girls.

A lot of tv shows are disgusting. Plus he's going for a soap opera approach on some of them. It's meant to be over the top n ridiculous. Which is why i can still dig into the fags n the fags not.

All the movies have been trash. Diary is semi ok. For colored was a hot pile of shit. He is not doing anything to push black cinema forward. Those of us that grew up with all the incredible black movies from the 90s can't turn a blind eye to his shit. It's time to open his studio to some real talented creatives.

I actually like For Colored Girls, but that's mostly because of the original source work

A lot of the mess in the movie was rushed. How do you get a cast with treat actresses minus trannet and still miss the fucking mark.

Yea,  I've seen people say it was good but the people that said it were just the types that would think some mess like that was good.  Not everybody is looking for great dialogue,  great writing, great  production,  etc.
