You wanna know what that tweet says to me Jayda? "White people make way better black content than black people do."

*White men are making better content than Tyler Perry, who is black. And that's a true statement

When are we gonna stop sugarcoating his mess to our own detriment!

Having Tyler put out this shitty content is already a statement to the world that blacks are the LOWEST on the totem pole in terms of artistic abilities.

they already wanna see you out on the basketball court or football field!

it's disgusting what Tyler Perry is doing to the Black community, and somebody needs to call his ass out on it. Getting a bag! buying a table! writing shitty scripts all by myself!

I guess years of African creativity, inventiveness, ingenuity, and artistic superiority is worth sacrificing for a damn dollar?

tears

Here we go with the "oh our White savior" mess.

That tambourine nigger needs to shut his mouth and eat his food. What is HE doing for the community? Besides typing on Twitter
he's a black arts focused journalist hun
Typing is his job
If this "journalist" was trying to uplift black people, wouldn't it be more appropriate to use a black producer? Not taking anything away from Brad but that tweet is rather transparent.
I think he was making the point that Tyler Perry has no excuse for his shitty, sub par, low quality content whilst touting himself as a super black producer,  when there are non-black people creating better black content than him.
I don't think the tweet goal was to "uplift", he was comparing and contrasting.

And why "journalist" is quotation marks? He's written for a lot of reputable brands.
I mean it's really quite simple..at least for me it was.
this didn't make sense to you?
I know BowDown is stupid and has a light learning disorder but ch
These new angles being used to try and move away from the obvious and simple point that the tweet is making that, Tyler is crap. Black or not, he's a poor producer, director, writer and even worse actor.

Brad being used as an EXAMPLE of someone who is not close to any proximty BLACKNESS yet still finds the time, scripts, and sources excellent black writers and staff to tell the black story and STILL doesn't boast and shout to any and everyone that listens that he's the creator of these messes the way that Tyler does.
If Brad can do it and do it WELL, Tyler has zero excuses.
Damn
!!!!!
That's what I got from it, too.
We have to remember, Tyler kinda brought this on himself. A lot of people were cool with him not creating the best content, but when he boasted, talking about "work ethic" it causes you to kinda step back, like "Tyler...your QUALITY ain't quite there"
!!!!!!!!!

Nznjzj and the fact Brad isn't walking around shouting
BRAD PITT STUDIOS ALL BY MYSELF!  NO HELP!
I didn't even know he had a hand in a few of these movies :dead:
kzkddj and his studio doesn't even make a profit from these films, he pumps the coin back in for more QUALITY mess.
Tyler could learn a few things.
Jack of all trades, master of NONE self.
I love to see it. I had no idea Brad was doing this.
https://twitter.com/kennnyroys/status/1219157577533014017

and it's sad if you look at it
Black ppl.... look at the material

1: Tyler Perry still sees black men and women as sex objects:
He only casts muscular good looking men (already limiting the pool of available talent), and he always makes them hellishly promiscuous and ravenous about sex.
Brad Pitt clearly appreciates the portrayal of black diversity

2: Tyler Perry hasn't accurately portrayed black history or taken on sensitive topics that America has tried to sweep under the rug:
Where is a film about alligator babies? Where is a film about the 40 Acres and a mule lie? Where is the film about the Trail of Tears from a black perspective? Where is the blockbuster Greenwood Tulsa story, accurately depicting the American Military destroying black wall street.
Brad Pitt has depicted horrible racial scenarios, but I wouldn't expected him to be as versed as Tyler in the deep seeded events that still haunt us.

3: Tyler Perry sees blacks as inferior:
Why create a show with mostly black characters, but the ppl in power are always WHITE men or women? ... The head judge, the head attorney, the president, the woman of the house who has a black maid.
His major character is a loud, violent, cussing, promiscuous grandmother who is surrounded by "church folk"  :kii:
This also takes form in the fact he doesn't "trust" any black writers to help him. He views them as lesser, let's call a spade a spade.

... the proof is in the material. It's so damn sad to see.

klappa.

fro is enraged in here

and twitter is still cackling down at this shit ass work

things just kinda ARE what they are lmao!
