You wanna know what that tweet says to me Jayda? "White people make way better black content than black people do."

N

That tweet clearly states that if EVEN a non person of color can make quality content...what excuse does miss Madea have for her mediocrity.

Not y'all trying to turn this into something else because the key point is undeniable

I mean if they had said Ava or Jordan y'all Tyletto's would've been in here boasting about a studio that delivers nothing but stale dumpster juice.

Hello?! Brad is the savior and Tyler needs to step it up because of him.

🦚

Its only shade if you agree that tyler cannot deliver the quality the one white man has.

The whole white savior mess is jumping to an extreme narrative to deflect from tyler being trash.

Not this era where black creators are at the fucking forefront of evolution. Not in this era where black women (Regina, Kerry, Viola, IsaRae, Taraji etc) broke barriers, captured and maintained audience across the spectrum.

And it's hilarious nobody looked at the brad pic and said "damn look what you can do when you use your platform to bring in (the people he is pictured with and deliver quality TOGETHER! "

Tyletto having the biggest scripted show on bet (who suffers from poor programming) or other networks who's bread and butter are reality tv shows is a damn kii.

Ya'll are sitting here with interpretations .. I'm focusing on the simplest part of this post.

Posting a picture of some White man with Black women hugged up on him, with text attached to it in an effort to shade Tyler.

It's not about him saying "Whites produce better content than Blacks" to me.

It's literally about him taking a fucking White man and clearly putting him on a PEDESTAL - and using that to get at Tyler.

I take issue with that. "That" being his ACTIONS. Not my personal interpretation of his text. What's not fucking CLICKING
as an example
Not as a pedestal
:dead:

Yeah stick your head in the damn sand and pretend there aren't PLENTY of revered black creators in the game right fucking now.

Here we go with the "oh our White savior" mess.

That tambourine nigger needs to shut his mouth and eat his food. What is HE doing for the community? Besides typing on Twitter
he's a black arts focused journalist hun
Typing is his job
If this "journalist" was trying to uplift black people, wouldn't it be more appropriate to use a black producer? Not taking anything away from Brad but that tweet is rather transparent.
I think he was making the point that Tyler Perry has no excuse for his shitty, sub par, low quality content whilst touting himself as a super black producer,  when there are non-black people creating better black content than him.
I don't think the tweet goal was to "uplift", he was comparing and contrasting.

And why "journalist" is quotation marks? He's written for a lot of reputable brands.
I mean it's really quite simple..at least for me it was.
this didn't make sense to you?
I know BowDown is stupid and has a light learning disorder but ch
These new angles being used to try and move away from the obvious and simple point that the tweet is making that, Tyler is crap. Black or not, he's a poor producer, director, writer and even worse actor.

Brad being used as an EXAMPLE of someone who is not close to any proximty BLACKNESS yet still finds the time, scripts, and sources excellent black writers and staff to tell the black story and STILL doesn't boast and shout to any and everyone that listens that he's the creator of these messes the way that Tyler does.
If Brad can do it and do it WELL, Tyler has zero excuses.
Damn
