Case definitely had the advantage in 2001 over Sisqo. He was coming off two Top 10 hits (Livin' It Up, Missing You).

However labels often did that and Def Soul seen Sisqo as the bigger artist and star, plus he had more of a commercial appeal than Case too. Such a shame how Def Soul fucked him over.

If he was saying the song was trash it wouldn't make sense for it to be musiq. It just wouldn't. No one would call a musiq song trash, ESPECIALLY back then. Musiq made and MAKES better musiq than Case. It's something that would be considered "trash" as a consensus. So yea,  that's VERY far fetched

I think YOU'RE missing the point.  None of us know wtf he's talking about but we're making educated guesses.  Saying musiq is quite a dumb ass guess, sir. Musiq is someone who is pretty commonly attached with quality musiq and to guess a musiq song.....FROM BACK THEN, isnt very logical.  No, we don't know who it is but let's think rationally

I still don't get how records labels be wanting to Sabotage their own artists like that, like that's hurting your bottom line. Shows how they really view and think of you even when your hot. Everybody's disposable.
