Have you guys considered that the pilot was well aware of the dangers but was under pressure from Kobe to continue to the destination. There was a scheduled game that all three of those girls were supposed to participate in and he was coaching.

I think it's dangerous to put all the blame on the pilot and insinuate he was a MENT girl. Although this could be true, it could also be true that Kobe instructed him to continue to ensure they made the game. This could explain why he stopped responding to the calls regarding him flying so low. Just a thought...🤷🏽‍♂️
i don't see that at all

Kobe wasn't a tyrant at this point in life. I can't imagine the pilot saying "hey, this is too dangerous to fly in" and Kobe saying "what?! Must make it to the game!"

It's dangerous to assume any of this, but i just can't see it

I agree. It's just so many unanswered questions, which unfortunately leads to a variety of possibilities and assumptions. I definitely feel all blame will be placed on the pilot because lets face it...he could have made better informed decisions since he was in complete control. Just devastating...

Human error is possible here. He may have panicked and just tried his best not to sound as if he was

The only audio we did get, sounded like business as usual and the copter he was flying is TOP of the line. You have to be almost overqualified in order to be allowed behind that wheel

That's why im thinking he simply got nervous

And sometimes with these pilots, they don't want to disappoint their high profile clients...

The donate part threw me off...
But then I remembered  - when families go through tragedies like this, going to work can be challenging for those initial weeks - but bills still have to be paid.
So sending $$$ can be helpful, if you can.

I just remembered I had a few autographed trading cards from when I was a kid and one of them was signed by Kobe

I need to go to my parent's house and see if they still have em

My Grandma gave me my uncle's (also dead) signed basketball trading card collection

I feel like Kobe was one of em but lemme see who signed the mess for sure
