maybe she means like black Americans/Caribbean's/Africans

I hope...  :mmyulost:
yup that's why she said "geographic borders" because she's British we celebrate BHM in September, and she chose to honour Nelson Mandela who's African as her pick this month as well as Quincy
This is interesting...I didn't even know other countries needed a black history month. Nice to know, so y'all include everybody in y'all month or just British people?
everybody

Man that's what's up... Idk what schools here are teaching today but back when I was in primary school they basically focused on MLK, Malcolm X, Madam CJ Walker, Rosa Parks, George Washington Carver Jr, and Nelson Mandela... We might've gotten some other people mentioned here and there but never in details like those people. There are so many other black people who contributed so much and people never hear about them really... It's actually pretty sad or was, idk if they mention more people nowadays
Eh... 🤷🏾‍♂️

and if so, feel free to post it ❤️

QuoteThe supermodel turned activist said of her desire for 'balanced inclusion': "I won't do an all-black show, for instance, because it would be hypocritical given what I've stood for, for so long," adding that she was offered a large sum to take part in the all-black fashion show.
"I can see clearly when brands want diversity because they get it and think it's the right thing to do – and the ones who just think it will look bad if they don't."

Now smoke up faggot

yh schools that do BHM take a worldly approach, a lot of the figures used are African American, a few are African and some are Black British

And between this and her refusing to do that all black fashion show, it's not looking to good for my sis

That statement is nowhere close to what you said nor did she mention anything about the brand's previous shows

Just as invalid as that half ass justification you gave for the ig post

That statement

is literally what I said but if you wanna put on your afro wig today I don't have time

yummy

And if sis is so against performative inclusion, why didn't she refuse to do that all black issue of Vogue Italia? Wasn't "woke" enough to turn around a major fashion magazine, but walking in an all black fashion show was out of the question

make it make sense jayda

Because she curated that all black magazine issue herself
She wasn't called upon to take part to make them look good
