Now if they would've completely took that angle of him being enormed and idolizing his pop and seeing himself in that light but on a bigger level than Ghost ever did it and Ghost started to see this and get in his way and try to deter him and Tariq eventually decides he has to go to ascend to the next level.

I thought that part made sense. What I don't get is why Tasha called the police to pin the murder on dude when Tariq told her that he got it taken care of.
