She is singing it in whitney's version ... r u ok? Just because a song is a cover doesn't mean you have no original contribution to it.

You only credit the original writers and producers.  Whitney's version didn't add any new credits.

I mean, she can shout her out but Pat can say nothing if she doesn't.

Clearly Tamar's version isn't a straight cover of the original, but instead borrows elements from the way whitney sang it.
