i don't think anyone in here is lying. having a cough or sore throat or fever in winter isn't uncommon

i believe everyone in here who is recalling symptoms actually...experienced these symptoms.

i only questioned whether everyone in here was actually SEVERELY sick. but even with that, there's room for interpretation or definition.
you have some over the counter meds that are labeled to treat "severe" cold and flu
and you have "severe" illness that lands people in the hospital.

i think you may get a different definition of "severe" depending on who you speak with. so that's worth considering as well.
