So if Chilli got up outta bed and wouldn't touch her hair, then people would call it nappy in the States. Then I guess it does have different meanings/definitions in different regions. Cause I would never use the word nappy, I would say unkempt or messy or frizzy maybe.

I would never use the word nappy either. For anyone.

But just know that there are plenty of people who would.

I'm kinda biased in this entire discussion I suppose cuz u gorls know I'm in deep love with the whole natural mess.
I LOVE seeing our women proudly strutting across work and other environments with their natural manes.

This is one of them, I have the biggest crush on her LOL. Her hair is so big and beautiful.
And she's such a cutie pie on top of that.

That's the problem with the word "nappy".

It's so subjective, and that's why I stray away from using it.

Kinky is pure definition, black and white.

Nappy has way too many "personal definitions" that are given to fit a scenario. Personally I just leave it out of my vocabulary, for that very reason. If you say it, you'll never know how it will be taken due to the varying beliefs of what it is.
