I don't understand how being "undershipped" is still an excuse. We live in the digital age, the majority of music listeners are streaming or buying online.

i understand where you're coming from but some artist have have a fanbase that actually buys physicals....majority of Monica grew up with her and well prob prefers buying physical copies

Well, the pigeons kinda need to step into this decade and starting punching to itunes.
g

yummy

Even her last album was 90% physical sales  :uhh:

Where'd you get this info hun
I was friends with one of the a&rs that handled her last era..
Very close with him..
He explained how she had little to no digital sales
Not even her singles

I'm sorry but I don't really believe that. The physical cd is all but dead and streaming is destroying itunes but damn near all of mon's album were sold via walmart and target?

:hmph:

Yes .. She's predicted to do almost 40k..
She peaked at #6..
While August peaked at #2...and he did around that much  :kii:
While his albums were easy to purchase and not sold out in stores! I kno this because I bought his mess and his fans never complained about this
It's kinda evident that she's no digital girl
Why do u think her fans and her are in such an uproar?
Luv.. Her physical album was sold out on BestBuy.com by noon the day of her release  :plzstop:

They buy physical copies

Code Red: itsMista

I only buy physical albums myself.

Billboard did their year-end reports a few years ago and mentioned something about Monica's strong physical sales.I'll see if I can find it.

Billboard article from 2010

Monica, together with Fantasia, shined attention on the still formidable buying power of urban adults when their new albums sold significant physical amounts in this increasingly download-fixated world.

Digital! iTunes!!

Yeah u can tell Chris Brown that because most of his fanbase is younger.

Monica's fanbase is a lot older and a bulk of her sales are physical. Especially this time of year when you want to gift things to people. It's just terrible. Monica has never been a digital artist like that.

Whoops

She needs to handle this behind the scenes
and the Doves (and everyone else) is going to have to get with the program
if you really Stan for an artist and the physical version of their album is under shipped
get your ass on iTunes and download
if its that deep, buy some blank CDs and burn it

But on the real Monica is not in demand right now so
I'm not surprised at what the label shipped
now if ALL of the physicals get bought in a short time period
RCA would be forced to ship more
