Folk use to really antagonize her and anyone with social capital then. Pre-Shaderoom era. It's easy for us to take her responding to trolls out of context, but we don't know what baby girl was going through during that time.

No one gives a damn now because folks have stopped pretending like they care including Shaderoom trolls however, I'm glad she seems to be in a grounded place again. I'm sure it's healthier for her to not be as present on social media.

And Brandy had a lot of growing up to do, but can you really hold it against a 16/17-year old teenager navigating fame, coming-of-age and having an incredible amount of access? of course she'd have a bit of an ego. A lot of us I'm sure would have huge ego's no matter what our upbringing might been prior to this fame.

A lot of what you all are saying here is unfair. Yes, it's the bias in me, but it's also the practical, human in me that has compassion. This argument could be made for any one of our favs. You only know what they've allowed you to know....or what the media allows you to know.
