I don't agree with interviewers doing this. It's tacky. He made a huge mistake YEARS ago and has dealt with it on his own terms.

It's not like he's proud of it, he's clearly ashamed. He was there to discuss his album. Not events from decades ago. I'm not agreeing with WHAT he did, but I think this reminisce and attack game is pathetic.

I understand both sides of this.

Bert has a shady past and can't expect anyone to erase it from their memory but I don't see anything wrong with separating the talent/music from the person.

I'm sure it is unfair to have constantly be reminded but it's not like these are harmless crimes he's being accused of and this pretty much comes with the territory of being a celeb.

His pr team dropped the ball tho. He shouldn't be doing interviews unless all questions are cleared with him and even then he should be better prepared just in case someone brings up those past allegations.
