it's amazing to see this all but ghan's story of a high rise and decline isn't unique at all within the industry that she's in
this shouldn't all be seen as "omg she was so huge! she needs to be back here again! it was the baby's fault! the pregnancy!"
mariah had her rise and decline, whitney, michael...
no one stays "on top" forever. unfortunately, our precious GHan doesn't get a pass on that rule.
one thing i really wish wouldn't have happened was the accident. it directly changed the course of ghan's music. we weren't supposed to get "Human", but we did. i mean forget the numbers, charts and mess....ghan's swag just wasn't the same after that. that's what makes me the saddest.
Her story isn't unique I agree but in some cases female entertainers have bounced back from pregnancies in the 90's and 00's. They were hard on brandy because she was a young black woman,
I feel people in the business made a big deal about brandy's pregnancy and image, she was forced to lie just to obtain it, They should have just let her be instead of forcing unrealistic expectations on her. Brandy didn't have a normal decline like most artist have when they start to loose their juice and essence, Brandy was cheated and chopped before we could see her finish her eras after NSN.
