Can someone link the dream song ? Honestly from
what I heard of Borderline it kinda sounds like it's her new sound . The vocals are incredible but the melody is missing and words just seem to be thrown all over the place which made me question possibly I heard an unfinished version because it's just missing the structure and a certain thing . It's possible!! But this seems to be a pattern so far ( although I understand we haven't heard much) . Listen to the snippets by camper they all kind of have this thing going . I think sis is trying to create a new sound

It took a couple listens for my ears to adjust but that's always the case with a new Brandy song.

But once I got in, it's almost like voices are in your head. Just these fleeting random statements. Some declarations and others affirmations. Even when she sings the same lines it's never the same. It's like she did every voice in one take rather than dubbing. It's insane!

I think the other issue that I have is that it seems like the people she works with get so engulfed in her brilliance that they might not critique her lol...Camper is clearly a stan and was literally salivating thru that mask

Well I think he spoke too soon. I think you talk to music with other musicians and you say things like "It'll be great to work with you!". He's pretty young, so he got ahead of himself and said that we were going to put out an EP. That was never my plan and that made me look bad in a way like I didn't own up to what was said. I had to go with it for a bit, but I stopped going with it. I'm not doing an EP with DJ Camper. I'm doing music for my life and it's not really with him. His work is fantastic, but I'm not working with him. I'm working with somebody else and I'm excited. i can't really talk about that, but I found a really great partner in music. It's really dope.

Like it's metaphorical and there needs to be some room for interpretation in music otherwise it's not accessible and boring.
