Most of it is trash too, but that's not the point.

Hip Hop is awful.

Guys quick,  post a good recent pop mess from a mainstream girl that's actually good

Oh wait forgot about Dua... woo she's DOING IT... and I guess the others just ARENT lol

pop

The girls just need to put the tempo back in music that slow trap shit is trash ,, remember artist would hit us with the uptempo mess first than a ballad for the second mess,,,now all the girls only know one tempo and no bridge

where do you see a slayage? This is hella diverse: https://www.billboard.com/charts/hot-100?utm_source=google&utm_medium=kgpromo&utm_campaign=BB-Google

I hate that Drake song but yeah the top 10 is actually diverse and there are many songs I'm liking at the moment.

I'm not using most of the new "hot" r&b artists though, their music puts me to sleep.

!!!!!

and what's crazy ... we were at the start of the pop mess

Donna, Pointer Sisters, even Whitney, Patti & Aretha had some of the first pop mess ... bring back the black pop mess

but it is time for a shift, the world needs a different vibe and they always wait for black artists to make the shift

that's why Doja is standing out to me, sis is really giving updated disco groove

the sad mess is kinda oversaturated

and i'll be honest ... I'm sick of the girls getting famous and developing anxiety. ok bitch move, go be sad in the corner and bring back the era of divas who WANT the room  :uhh:

just cause there a couple of non hiphop songs there now doesn't mean we can really say it's not dominating overall rn

it's been like this for as long as I can remember though.

And Just because Summer Walker did cute doesn't mean today's R&B is dominating. It's never been Lil Uzi and all the other gremlins back to back to back on the charts slaying or anything. American culture wise.. yeah everyone wants to be black n stuff I'm aware of that.

Drag the girls keif

talmbout they want the unt unt era back

Dua is the new queen of pop

Every cycle repeats itself. I think pop will eventually make a return. I'm honestly ready for a new dancing cunt pasty queen too. Cbcbdxbcbbx

Theres definitely been a few unappreciated/overlooked pop gems recently though (Tove Lo, ect.)

but I feel like Hip Hop will actually stick around a bit this time and continue to dominate. Unlike other genres, they've learned to keep inventing and experimenting with fresh sounds. Hip Hop sets the trends.. the other girls just follow and add their touch to it. Pop needs a groundbreaking moment to make a return (like Gaga in 07/08).

yummy

I mean, there's plenty of quality pop music out there but (just like with most R&B) you won't hear it on the radio

You faggawts have access to just about any genre of music at your fingertips, so what's there to complain about?

I'd rather endure these codeine coos than go through another glow stick era.
