I'm not a soda girl but soda tastes wayyyy different outside of the US. It's almost tolerable even.

Fanta is way too carbonated here in France, I don't like it. When I moved from Cameroon to France when I was 5 I was shocked about the difference in taste. I felt it tastes much better in Cameroon (less carbonated for instance).

I'm also wondering whether the sugar concentration is also much more different.

In Cameroon there is a popular soft drink called "Top". The back label of the drink is saying that it can present side effects on the children's concentration. I was surprised there would mention such things so explicitly.
