We don't share the same culture, but prominent black figures like Remy Ma and Duffy have embolden people like fat joe and others with "borrowed"'cultural capital. I've seen him elevated in spaces where he's been allowed to criticize and talk down to black people. Other races/ethic groups would NEVER allow black Americans to get away with such.
