I did prefer the GMA performance more because of the dancing. The track doesn't really translate like it should when she's not moving. They definitely need to get an acoustic mess in rotation.

Technically, the lipping is better for her voice

I get the complaints about the lipping. I'm just saying FOR ME, it doesn't bother me right now as long as she's giving at home performances. I'm sure they're trying to give more of a "production," which would be difficult to capture live vocals. I'm hoping she does it LIVE once we get a real performance, but honestly, Brandy hasn't performed live much for YEARS. At least for most songs. So I'm kinda not expecting it.

I can see saying the lipping is better during a tour, but for 2 little 4 minute performances?
and somebody tell Kipp, Silent or whoever to let her know that the bathroom bangers were some of her best received performances. Who cares about a "production"

For Baby Mama? It makes sense. The energy of the song requires a lil more than Bran just standing flat footed and singing. If this was a ballad, that would be different. That's why I think they need to do an acoustic version so  she can really sit down, dig in, AND it would make sense
