Y'all think if sis released an album like 2 years after Afro things would've been a lil different?

:stressed:

Brandy has at least 2 or 3 projects in the vault.

- The album she was doing with Rodney's camp before Afro

- She was working with Tim (Bran'Nu) I think most of their songs have leaked though.

- the album she started before B7 (Oak and Pop etc)

On "Saving all my love",  part of it sounds like she's apologizing for fucking the love up because of her issues. Mentally and emotionally

it's pretty sick, actually :kii:

"sorry for my tardy, for a long time i was broken-hearted" means she couldn't commit to him because of her trust issues stemming from past relationships

"Waited ... laid my burdens down...  complicated, i hesitated. "I'm out there" over the rainbow ... somewhere.

"out there" is what people always say when they've lost their minds a bit, or have lost their way. And the second verse literally beginswith more hope and another admission: "I'm medicated ...  i am free to move forward"

she's spilling so much tea on this album it's scary

the arrangement is crazy and weird and suits the lyrical content perfectly IMO. I can't wait to hear what happens after the second verse starts

Hmmm, maybe it's a different "2nd Thought" because it doesn't seem like it's a continuation of "I Thought".

babe why would u even phrase this question that way? And no i never said that

We've all gone off the deep end for all lol that's all I'm saying. Songs can be interpreted all sorts of ways. But i don't wanna make dangerous assumptions anymore until she confirms

OAN, I really don't like the way Rodney & Brandy handle each other, Rodney moreso. There's like this reluctance to say they wanna colloborate. It's very strange :dead:

I think it may be fear of getting hurt. It's definitely more personal than business related. They've probably fallen out pretty bad, but they both know they are musically married and it's kinda hard to ignore that.

Bran was pretty explicit a couple of weeks ago in saying she would want to work with him again.

https://genius.com/Brandy-2nd-thought-lyrics genius says its this song lol
hmm
I don't think this is accurate

Brandy was not working with her baby Daddy after full moon to my knowledge
I just don't see it
ggggggg did someone just type that up now?

But the Robert stuff makes sense because they said it was scrapped right before she got petty and dialed Timbalands number  :kii:

Remember that's why Jennifer Lopez and other artists ended up with some of those leftover songs as well. Brandy had moved on

I really want someone to hit up Timbaland and have him discuss the Afrodisiac era/sessions, and the unreleased shit too like Drum Life/Home/WTLN sessions

At this point, idc if they don't. I think i'd be worried about him changing the flow the album if he was involved in B7.

I just don't understand the bad vibes lol. Def agree about it being personal.
