Isn't this the girl who writes for Ariana? to be honest, a lot of songwriters who write for bigger artists struggle to make it on their own as an artist and brand e.g. Sevyn etc.
if she's independent, it's even harder as she has no label backing or promotion to get her out there and even then, a lot of R&B girls are still waiting to get their due through social media e.g. Kelela, Tinashe, Diana Gordon etc
