My mess

They don't really have many bad songs so far tbh. Not at all

The only thing I didn't care for was that EP of covers they dropped, honoring old MALE R&B groups. That was an odd decision although i know they wanted to step outside of the girl group box and what's popular

Sometimes you have to do that when you're a new group though. Especially a new girl group.  People want what's familiar to them and something that feels current or fresh.

well the tea on that.. now that it can be discussed.

Epic had them in contract. Would not give them their songs OR let them release other original material.

The only way to get around that and put out any content was to unfortunately release covers. I think they chose male groups to be different and it wasn't cliche girl groups. Also, they probably wanted to stay away from the toxic comparisons to those girl groups.They tried releasing wrap around with the mixtape and Epic snatched it from SoundCloud and YouTube. So it "leaked" on Youtube under June's Diary Daily as "I Can Wrap"

when songs are written for you and studio time is paid for by the label. you kinda gotta do what they say. all of that to say, I dont think that's something she chose to do.

Kristal's brother passed away recently. So I am certain that is holding up some of the process a bit. Pray for her and her family; she's been through a ALOT lately. Between her house fire, losing her nephew, and now her brother. 

I am hoping for new music soon though. <3
