Women, who are black, singers, Christian, mothers, multi-Platinum albums, R&B music, Grammy for the same song, biggest #1 songs, both loved Whitney, are from the South, have church backgrounds, were signed to RCA at the same time...

Most of that applies to the majority of R&B singers so stop being so obtuse. Their music, personalities, style and voice are completely different.
