I honestly thought brandy moved away from the executive producer idea and just would pull a handful of her favs from different producers
and i know camper pushed for it and brandy said no and they fell out and she punched but later decided on how many songs she would have of his
camper was in  her comments beggin and pleadin to release their work and be apart of the project

and with her first single being a non camper

its clear to me she likes him but  iono i think hes had to prove his versatility for her to agree to ep again
the latter post is something i know for a fact. You're so right

You pick up on a lot of things  :kii: people can shade you all they want but you're so bright

This is the song with Jhene Aiko, entitled "Ascenion"

Another example of Brandy leading us astray with the production and lead vocals muted  :dead:

This is why i giggle when people think they've heard all these snippets for B7.   :kii: we haven't heard SHIT outside of the obvious

I don't think her first single choice has anything to do with not having faith in Camper. Brandy has used the mid tempo/ uptempo first single as a crutch for several albums now. I don't understand it, but this is clearly how she feels most comfortable introducing her music with each project.

I was about to say. Brandy kinda feels the need to start her eras off with an uptempo track and then release a mid tempo or ballad as a 2nd single. I can see why she went w/ Baby Mama. She's never led a project off with a ballad or something. And Hit Boy just kinda came with a fire production.
He sure did and i love how Brandy stood in it and celebrated the song even after she saw a lot of the comments on twitter

She explained the song and it's meaning a few times better, and let that be that. She's the boss I've wanted her to be (as a fan) for years now. I'm super curious to see what the 2nd single gives and both of you are 100% right

That particular formula is obvious here for sure even though the music is completely different, of course

in most cases shes led with the ExecProducers singles
the only exception was Afrodisiac and B7

i believe

brandy led with i wanna be down kieth crouch
nsn led with tbim rodney
full moon led with wbu rodney
human led with rhd rodney
211 led with pid  bangladesh (most occuring on the album )

so we actually have more of stonger history of beliving in the eps work vs another
and the afridisiac departure was most likely due to uncertainty

as i feel it is with b7

from what i witnessed between camper and bran  hey

And Lew, a lot of those snippets were when she was dating Sir the Baptist.  She was singing so hard during that time, similar to 2013

you can almost hear what she was going through because her voice was much rougher and not as pleasant, in my personal opinion.

I've come to notice that when she's in a great space, that voice follows suit. it's NO coincidence.

Bigmacthawoppa

I wonder if she's gonna give an Emancipation tea where the first single does decent like It's Like That but the second single swoops in and fuckin changes the game.

Lol yeah I guess mean moreso industry love and reception, not necessarily sales or streams. I've come to the acceptance that the GP is just a bit too BASIC to get Bran and I'm ok with that now.

I'd also like to imagine that politics played a part in us never rly hearing those songs either. I mean, she was still contractually still signed to Chameleon Ent. even tho she was doing her own thing. She took a bold chance and released Beggin N Pleadin, but it would prob cause too much potential conflict if she decides to release these songs, cause at that time, like she said, she didnt own her voice. Chameleon did. And what she recorded was theirs too. So once she got truly free, whatever she recorded after that is what she will release.

!!!
I been thinking about this lol
I will be surprised if they don't do a big ballad or mid-ballad next.
