Definitely an island thing and the sink is cleaned daily ... long as u clean it on regular and before placing meat down which it appears she did nothing nasty about it. Go to a caucasian house If you think it is they don't even wash their meat out the package (that's nasty)

Furthermore, that chicken aint cleaned properly. The yellow at the tip of the drumstick and all what white fat and slime on the chicken. No sir. I'm the type a nigga who will take 30 minutes just to clean my chicken and soak that shit in white vinegar and/or lemon juice. Furthermore, u want the extra seasoning for the sauce, so the bowl is what us "island" ppl use.

A bowl is way more practical..she just throws seasoning on top. How is she going to get it everywhere on the chicken? I need a bowl

I don't think sinks should be used to prepare food. Plus how are you going to clean your hands -after you for example touch your phone while cooking- if you can't even use the sink.
