The Verzuz was pushed back because he was sick. But the WTE thing was only postponed once because of Andre's passing.

The soundtrack was done before Monica really blew up. I don't think Whitney hand picked everyone but she gave Babyface an ok. Face wrote Not Gon Cry with Mary in mind. It's not like Whitney heard the songs and picked who would sing what. Face included her  to be nice but he was going to use who tf he was going to use lol.
