What artists were an inspiration for this album? I can personally also hear Sade (the song Mermaid came to mind while listening) & Phil Collins
What is there left to learn for the Vocal Bible? Or what did she learn during recording. (Amazing how she always comes up with new sounds, her voice is an amazing instrument)
I wonder if experiences like Broadway and acting also had an influence. (The way she used her voice , storytelling and also acting in the new music vid.)
The beats and music is described by many fans as healing. It sounds like music to meditate to..or to listen to as therapy. We know she had her own personal spiritual journey (meditation and her special pages -letters to God- she wrote - the repetition in those beautiful curves in her handwriting)...I wonder how this personal journey influenced the atmosphere on the album, her lyrics, song structures and view on music/art as therapy.
How does her family feel about this style? I can imagine people like her dad, a different generation, were maybe surprised by this new music.
Congratulate her on the Moesha win! Oh and I think it would be cool to make a fashion line inspired by the show just like Will Smith did. I mean let's get some coin. The esthetic is really fashionable again. I really don't mind if she experimented more with merchandise.
Same with vinyls..it is so amazing if they could rerelease the classics as anniversary editions.
I personally would love to hear more unreleased songs as well, b-sides or remastered versions of the old masterpieces.
Does she plan to tour if corona slows down? The European fans miss her.
