What if our ancestors never fought back? I was in nyc yesterday protesting. Some will rather die if that means the generation after us will have it easier. You never know what laws and practices will come of this. Some people think it's worth a try. If they die they're not dying in vain.
I dont think what they're doing is wrong, there's a method to madness that usually WORKS
Harriet Tubman was SNEAKING slaves up North, and it was masked by negro spirituals
did they burn down the cotton fields and just say fuck it? NO
it was illegal, dangerous and many still died trying but it was organized and wasn't detrimental to their own livelihood

I get what you're saying, but Harriet is the exception not the rule.

There are plenty of our ancestors who rebelled in the manner we are now. And if it wasn't for them we wouldn't be where we are today.

now
I was thinking about like Nat Turner as I typed that but
if I'm not mistaken, Harriet was the most successful with getting slaves away from the south right?

I believe so, but historians consider his the first effective slave revolt.

We can%u2019t really compare now and then because it%u2019s a lot of gaslighting and corrupted stuff happening with whites. Meaning a cop was the one that started breaking windows and stuff and whites are loitering also. So you can%u2019t really compare the two because we are not segregated anymore. We don%u2019t have anymore black leaders for the black community so we can%u2019t just conjure a plan or strategy. Plus we have whites burning the police station down too so would it even work? Our president is suppose to be our leader. I wish Obama did more about police brutality instead of saying he%u2019s everybody president not just black people but that%u2019s another topic.
I understand all of that, I just want it directed at the right targets
which is not themselves and their own communities
if White ppl started it, dont join them
STOP them, do whatever you need to do.
or retaliate by going to their clean, suburban neighborhood and trash THAT shit
because when its over, they aren't gonna help rebuild OUR shit, they probably aren't gonna convict that cop
if anything make THEM feel how WE feel

Can you name the black businesses or at least one that you saw?

I saw a liquor store, autozone, Wendy%u2019s, target, precinct, and a 5 story building...I%u2019m not understanding this black community talk. Minneapolis is 63% white and 18% black.

Stop them? It was a white cop and you know how unhinged they are...

Black people ARE protecting their shit

OK the protection I like
none of those businesses are Black owned, I'm just saying they are places in their living areas that provide jobs/essential supplies, food, clothes etc
If they are really in the White areas exclusively and dont service Blacks at all then I take back everything I said
