She said they're animals that escaped from a zoo.
sounded stupid as hell so don't try to act as if "da baddest bitch" is some misunderstood top shelf poet.
Am am I in the fucking twilight zone?
Never said any of this boo. But ok.
I don't agree with looting. That's my opinion. You obviously think otherwise or you feel the word animal was uncalled for. Fair opinion.
I'm speaking on the looting. Can care lees what word is used to describe who's doing the looting.
s
But bby who cares about looting?
The biggest LOOT is Wall Street, and Name Brands, and Corporations walking away with close to 1trillion of the stimulus while HALF of America got 1200
You don't think ppl are fed up with the system?
agreed. but if you follow me on IG (@tejai) you will see that my stance on protesting has ALWAYS been to hit them where it hurts...which is their pockets.
We have been looting and rioting about racism for decades and while we've made strides, it still exists. Its systematic. My approach in situations like this have ALWAYS been to hit them where it hurts.
Stores can be rebuilt. That's what insurance is for. These retailers dont' care about that.
Black out IG? Nah. We are just silencing ourselves on a day where there are 8 primary elections. How about a blackout to the major retailers. Where minority groups decide that for an extended period of time we will not SHOP or SUPPORT certain companies.
How about moving our funds from these major banks to small, black-owned banks.
How about protesting on the steps of your local government buildings, not infront of Barclays center.
I'm all about peaceful protests and pushing the needle but i'm also for making sure it's effective.
Trust me, we are on the same team. I just have a diff approach. I work for a Fortune 500 financial firm. Their pain is their POCKETS...our pain is our people.
Now that's talking about the OVERALL issue of racism and the system. When speaking of police brutality, that, again, starts from the TOP. You think these four cops are going to go to jail and get the same treatment as one of our brothers who is in jail for drug dealing? Man please, these cops are going to get the BEST treatment. We need to throw away the "BOOK" and it needs to be re-written and that starts with going after the folks who write the "book" that is law enforcement and the rules and laws that surround it.
I'm not MAJOR organizer and I am in no place to speak for the masses. This is my opinion. But EVERY major organizer that I have spoken to has said there's no point in looting. There's no point in violence. It does NOTHING and it only puts us in the narrative that the media and opposition want us to fall into.
Again, just my opinion y'all.
