while what you're saying is true, i think you have a one-dimensional idea of gangs. not all gangs function this way and actually some gangs that used to previously have shied away from it.

i don't expect anyone to "go up" but i certainly think tearing them down is without warrant here. as far as forgiveness, im not aware of anything these particular men did that would warrant forgiveness.

so i dont think it serves anyone (and certainly not the cause) to automatically assume that these men are akin to or to hold them responsible for what gangs have done in the past. not all gangs are the same at all. all they can do is the right thing today and show people what they represent by action.

im just noticing a trend of my bros and sis lashing out at the wrong things imo. and i get the anger, i just think we need to be more mindful and strategic in where we place it. thats all.
