Eh...not sure what to make of this.

I think the term Urban gives White people license to co-opt Black music but calling it BLaCK Music! seems edgy.

I want Black creatives to get credit where it's due, which all too often doesn't happen.

I'm not 100% convinced this is the way to do it though.

That's taking us backwards. Urban radio use to be called the black charts/stations. I'm good with urban.

Well the Grammy's announced first they were going to drop the term urban so I guess they responded to that

And there are plenty of black artists in the uk who deserve more attention
