its honestly weird to me...

the main reason why carnival is so huge in the Caribbean..is because we honor our roots / heritage.
from the music to the clothes to the headdresses  :cheerup:

I get that People from Africa are sick of ppl thinking it's all poverty all over the continent ...but I don't associate anything I saw in the first BIK promo with poverty  :hmph:

I saw some criticism about it being too rich looking and poppin but that's our history as well
