Part of me wishes Bran had the day to herself, but the other half is kinda like "ehhh."

true but there's so much more to it than that. She had no business releasing an album before 2018, and it would've been a disaster for so many obvious reasons sddddf i get what you mean though. She's had PLENTY of time to drop this particular album.

She'd been working on this particular album for 2 years. That's actually pretty common, with her producing and writing on nearly everything. Chloe X Halle said they took 3 years on their latest project.

I think ppl are also not too sure what this album is gonna give sonically. 2/11 was good but it was missing that certain feel her projects usually give. "Not Tomorrow" is the best mess I've personally heard out of allllll the snippets we've gotten. Speaking for myself, I'm not feeling that excitement I usually get whenever she's about to start a new era. Idk if COVID has anything to do with it
