no but he was the most viable candidate when it comes to someone that republicans can support as well.
other dem candidates (king bernie, yang, warren, etc) were deemed to radical by the right (even though their "radical" ideas are supported by the majority of americans) and that vote could go to trump. the DNC didn't want to risk that.
biden wasn't my first choice but regardless of how I might feel about him, he is unequivocally more qualified to run this country than trump is and, though I doubt it will be perfect (as if it ever is) it is 100% fact that our country would be under safer and more competent leadership in a biden administration than in a trump administration (systematic racism/brutality being addressed, environmental issues, international relations, etc, etc, et damn c)
that's all i'm focused on right now.
if we get biden into office we can work wit him. another 4 years of trump will kill us.
