i totally agree that womanhood for a natural born woman is a whole different experience

and i actually understand why many of them get upset when they see trans women trying to claim their whole mess, i'd be pissed too if had to deal with period cramps on a monthly basis and some man tosses on a wig and lipstick and gets to say they're the same thing as me. the fuck

but i'm big on respecting people's self-identity
if i know them. and have interactions with them

that's a lot of unnecessary negative energy and tension in the atmosphere to overlook their request.
