It's not tacky it's necessary.... If Whoopi accepting it and she's one of the biggest black actress in history they'll expect lesser people to accept it or less. Saying this will put pressure on them and might even put pressure on her (I doubt it though) to pay her what she's worth. Hell she's won all the major awards she's technically the most famous person on the show and she's probably not being paid the most

Whoopi seems content with accepting whatever (unfortunately). There was a period where it felt like she was blacklisted. So, I get it. Snatch whatever coin u can.

And yeah, I bet Joy is the highest paid. Even tho there's been gaps in her employment at the network. She has the most years under her belt.

Yeah that's the problem Whoopi is content with it so people not as big as her don't stand a chance after her... I get why you consider it tacky but Whoopi felt comfortable enough to tell her how much she was being paid and unless they are real close friends she can't be concerned about people knowing.  It's really embarrassing that Nene was getting paid the same or possibly more for rhoa as a celebrated actress on a network show. Whoopi should be shamed

Y'all gotta get over this private pay salary feeling... That's how you do more work or be a more valuable person to a company but be paid less. When I was an hourly worker I asked coworkers what they made and if I found out I was paid less than someone newer or someone who did less than me I either left the job or started doing less than them. Granted I haven't had an hourly paying job since I was in college but I was a stickler for making sure I wasn't being paid less but expected to do more
