Everyone that I've seen write about the album has said Borderline is on top or at least top 3. So are some of you saying it's great but not single material...for those that have heard it?It isn't that great imo I feel that it's being hyped up I've seen those reviews and recently heard it in full.. I really don't get the praise The vocals seemed very choppy and punched in And the "ohhhhhhhhs" in her backgrounds feel overbearing Maybe she has redone it and it's better but the version I heard wasn't anything to be raving about .. I'm a stan and the fact that I didn't even rewind it or replay it.. says a lotHmmm interesting.Very

Fuck trying for a chart single. She needs to sell her ALBUM.I very well believe her album will sell itself. Think of when Solange dropped Seat At The Table... nobody was checking for her musically, but she dropped an amazing album, with great visuals (crossing my fingers for borderline) and the album streamed! And garnered her a Grammy.Obviously they are different artist but ya get the point. Brandy got a nom this year, she will get another. But solange brings very high fashion art visuals..that is definitely a different niche. And that will always be Brandy's downfall her visuals and theme... musically she's always there but the visuals just haven't fully clicked yet... she really just needs to hire a legit creative team to bring her visions to life in a quality dope way to sell her music

Quote from: Bish on July 16, 2020, 07:49:58 PMI hope they wait until the album is released before deciding on the single. Had they done that with 211 it would have had a totally different trajectory by releasing DYK.But knowing Brandy she'll just choose the song most sentimental to her.
