I've seen some of his reviews before. He appears to know more oldies type stuff and Hip-Hop than 80s-2000s. So whoever he grew up with did teach him some stuff but clearly missed multiple decades. It is cringe when he's like "Oh that's ____" in the video but never heard of a certain artist he's reacting to. Or when he mixes up Black People or misgenders people

He was watching Sock it to Me and I dont think he mentioned it was Kim running around with Missy the whole time.  Then I realized you probably wouldn't know unless you knew how close they were back then and the cameos they did. You can't really see her in the costume.

There's a young black boy that does the same reaction videos and he doesn't get as many views as this white boy (thought he doesn't get too deep in commentary as this teen or follow the same format).

sss So yeah admittedly there's a fascination we have when white folks are getting into our culture...

I tune into those metal gorls "reacts to..." type videos too just to see what the fuck they're about to say.
