Kim is not the blame for Kanye's bad behavior. I have my politics about the Kardashians however, it's toxic to continuously blame his wife and/or his mother's loss (which was a turning point) on how he has chosen to use his platform. It removes patriarchy from any responsibility. This is some deep shit, y'all. My only hope is that he gets the help he so desperately needs.

kanye has his issues but his celebrity has also allowed him to give to the community in big ways

including the millions he donated to the family of George Floyd another families after protests

assistance for low income families in chicago during the COVID crisis

as far out as he is, he still remembers where he comes from. i personally don't think genuine Black love is throwing away people
without even considering the good they've contributed , outside of their art.

It's called nuance. We inherently hold so much as human beings. Kanye is suffering. I do think there comes a time to where energy no longer needs to be given to a person once they reveal who they are and the culture (because sensationalism) still is giving it's energy and support to Kanye because he's controversial. And that same energy or support was not extended to Azealia Banks. It's patriarchal bullshit.

well I was 100% Pro Azealia as well while the gorls were calling her a dumb black tar baby or whatever

Made the same plea for understanding of her situation and plight.

In no way was the Azealia statement directed at you. I used it to make a point about the toxicity of our culture, celebrity and patriarchy.

but he rapped about the sex tape when they first got together

"My girl a superstar all from a home movie"

sounds like someone who was impressed and didn't see anything wrong with it

Kim was a toy to him
