heavy blue hue/tint is distorting the pink and making the white look blueish.

I think it depends on what you last saw before seeing the picture. When I post this, I was seeing Aqua on gray. Now since that Ment boy post the other pic, I revisited the original one and now seeing pink and white.

but no, the shoes are indeed pink and white. the color distortion jusr caused an optical illusion, but now your brain has figured out why it was seeing it that way.

the only way that ASHY pink in the OP would look grey is if the damn photo was in black/white.
