Gilgamesh.

Ugh this is the most played album in my collection by far :gorlonfire:

An Urban-Pop Masterpiece and a perfect era. Literally the only thing I would have done differently is shoot a video for AID and ending the era with "Happy".

Almost Doesn't Count is still my fav song of all time.

Rest of my top 5 would be

- U Don't Know Me
- Put That on Everything
- Tomorrow
- Learn the Hard Way

I love Angel in Disguise but I hate how the song title has the opposite meaning of the lyrics.

AID

PTOE

U Don't Know Me

Honestly the 5th spot depends on my mood. Sometimes I find HYE corny and sometimes I love it.

wizzy

Angel in disguise, put that on everything, learn the hard way, u don't know me, one voice

This was my stan era. I remember having a connection to my sis. I would go in stores go to the magazine section because I could FEEL there would be a new poster of my sis. I would flip them pages of BlackBeat, Right On, and Word Up...posters in each one.
:stressed:

Dudes would even bring me mess to school, "I took this out my sister's magazine". Bby, I already had the poster, but I would take it just because of who it came from.

Fav video: TBIM

I remember seeing this pic and LOSING IT!!

SUCH and ICONIC ERA.

Top 7:
Angel in Disguise
Learn the Hard Way
NSN
Truthfully
Put That on Everything
One Voice
Tomorrow

FRANCE

Her rendition of Everything I Do is soooo underrated. She breathed new life into that song. One of her classics and she dont even know it. They played that song a lot, especially in overseas markets.

Hatsumomo

I watch the boy is mine video religiously it's amazing how the song, fashion and video style hold up today. Epic.

While we're on it, what was y'alls favorite Moesha theme song out of the 3 vocals?

Darin!!!! the way she was indisputably that bitch :omf:
I had NEVER been lashed like that before, Rome. Never. She was everywhere. I was begging my momma for VHS tapes so I could record all her mess...
:uhh: :uhh:

Every award show...every magazine...tv specials...Moesha...
when did sis sleep? :plzstop:

and I think people underestimate how competitive 98 was:
Whitney, Mariah, Janet, Madonna, Lauryn Hill, Deborah Cox (huge record at the time), all them white singers/bands....and she still was RIGHT there.

FRANCE

Her best CD art, imo

And aside from Full Moon, the best album packaging. The way everything was spot on.
