there's not any songs on the album to do that with

Saving All My Love, Borderline, Say Something

Do you just listen for the beat? 

Say Something and Rather Be

But those are just really GOOD songs. There's no emotional connection with this album

and it's even less cohesive than 2-11. Which for Brandy is terrible

No emotional connection because you just don't like it or because you can't relate her experience?

I think that's a reach. The general consensus so far has been that it's super cohesive.

But it's just wishful. Knowing all the songs she has recorded over 8 years and we get these. I want to think these are the "experimental" batch that she wants to get out there and she'll have some traditional Brandy coming within a year for the conservative Brandy gors

"Rather Be" is so timeless. She should've did more songs with Victoria. Bran's songwriting is...out there. This was a big change for her though so I admire that.

Queen's songwriting makes me believe those what those journal entries look like. 

I think she needs practice and guidance. For example, there were a few lines in the original or early version of BM that were replaced by worse lines. I don't know who was responsible for that, but....

It's interesting how Brandy says she's a body of work girl but in the listening party says she doesn't put much into the track listing other than listening to how the songs ends. 


I always believed bran could be a "creative" but she's a vocalist that needs a machine or creative team to lead her.
