I understood what he was saying though. Billy has been in the industry for a longgg time, he put in the work and this was HIS moment. This was only their first season and the fact that they were in the room was a big step forward with these conservative white award shows. If it was going to be anybody to represent that show, they were going to pick Billy Porter. Plus the girls had to get their acting together. Now this second season, I do think some of them were snubbed.
