they are saving money on marketing, creating physical film reel (or however they do it) to send to theatres, premieres, etc.
so how exactly are they "recouping" at a price point of 30$ when they would have spent more to get the film out to theatres/promote and would have charged less for it to bee seen
and lets say for argument's sake that "recouping" is actually is the reason. its still higheay robbery. i'll purchase a movie to own for 30 bucks, but i damn sure ain't renting a mess for that. especially when it will be on the free streaming sites within the week.
hell, netflix puts big budget films on all the damn time and don't charge for the mess.
