I personally like the remix better too. It just works better as a duet for me. And though Brandy delivered a better vocal on the original, I liked her vocal approach better on the remix personally.

Maybe cuz it's more mid tempo, but the original is too slow for ME after my ears had already gotten used to the remix. I didn't hear the original as a kid before the remix

But Brandy listeners who arent familiar with her catalog only know her from the 1st 2 albums, mainly NSN, and that was when her voice wasnt as...STRONG per se. She was still finding her voice. So they hear a song like Almost Doesnt Count or Top Of The World, or even Sittin Up and think thats all she can do when that is farrr from the truth.

I had to play Without You for one of my friends to convince her Brandy can sing during the Two Eleven era and she was shocked.

I love it. I love how mainstream she was, compared to now. 

Now she has a CULT following that no one can deny. Her career is crazy! She's experiencing it all
