Rodney has moved on and had MUCH success without Brandy, Brandy aint had much success outside of Rodney. If he is controlling maybe she should listen to the nigga cause he clearly has the Damn answer :dead:

And i didn't say she had NO success without Rodney.  I said much and that's true
She's had some commercial success but she seemed to have more critical success without him than she did while with.

Then where was all that chemistry on Human?

RAY7

it was there on Right Here, Fall, Shattered Heart, Piano Man...

what song did Rodney produce that's bigger than TBIM?
he hasnt been the #1 hitmaker without her either tbh
I cant tell you the last artist screaming "DARKCHILD produced!" when naming who they worked with
and more than likely it wasn't the single on their album, so yea
:plzstop:
Rodney has had MUCH success outside of Brandy. Firstly, his first grammy came from say my name..... which was a number one record.  His record of the yr grammy came from sam smith for Stay With Me. He was just nominated for record and song of the yr with HER. Wtf are u talking about :plzstop:
Brandy hasn't seen the success she had with Rodney OUTSIDE of Rodney. The same CANNOT be said for Rodney. Please don't try to debate this.  This is when y'all just be sounding goofy  :omf:
This is my pass to say WHATEVER tf I wanna say about the mess she releases so I don't wanna hear SHIT! Baby mama is a mess of a song btw

Sittin Up In My Room her second biggest song: with Babyface
her debut album 4x Platinum with 4 big classic hits with Keith Crouch
Have You Ever- Diane Warren & David Foster #1 single
Love Again Grammy nominated- DJ Camper
Put It Down R&B #1 hit- Sean Garrett & Bangladesh
Full Moon the song: Mike City
are we serious Vonc? no success without him? :kii:

No this nigga didn't say 80% of the Brandy songs on Verzuz he produced. She only played FIVE songs produced by him  :dead:

Brandy is not defined by Rodney and Rodney is not defined by Brandy.

Vonc2002

And its arguable that the record of the yr winning song is his biggest achievement ACTUALLY
This is my pass to say WHATEVER tf I wanna say about the mess she releases so I don't wanna hear SHIT! Baby mama is a mess of a song btw

Exactly why she shouldn't be with him anymore.  Their chemistry is dead.  Please let's stop trying to cling to it :omf:

Rodney ain't cooking shit and hasn't been cooking shit that will make Brandy anything
more or less than she is/was.

Her most critically acclaimed music is without him.

Furthermore, a lot of Rodney's hits had more to do with the dominance of the artist rather than his music.

NOTHING Brandy has done has measured up to the success she had with Rodney. Are u really trying to dispute that :dead:
Even that tired ass full moon y'all love is RODNEY!
Brandy's last REAL hit was RH(D) and who was that?
Brandy hasn't really been successful musically  like that post Rodney (at least in a mainstream way) and that can't be debated :omf:

What has Rodney done in 15 years?  :dead: :dead:

Brandy was young, Rodney was young, they created a sound together.  They bumped heads when they should have worked together, almost like a team/group. They created that sound together, so I see how they both felt an ownership to it. Rodney had artist imitating Brandy and that is something else.

This is true and "Borderline" is an example.  The video garnered over 100K likes on YouTube in August and has people on Twitter and YouTube talking about how addictive it is and the emotions it evokes.  "Borderline" is a staple song for her now and will garner her many of awards because of its acclaim.  b7 and "Borderline" are that girl.

Sam Smith was a no one until Stay With Me
Destiny Child weren't a FORCE until Say My name which is arguably their most known record
HER isn't some DOMINATING force in music like that, so her music is EXCLUSIVELY why she's been recognized. Hard Place being nominated for Record and Song of the yr isn't because she's just some beyonce type.
Even the Michael Jackson and Toni Hits tbh. They  were both coming off of long breaks that were VERY scandalous.  They needed heat and went to him.  His music wasn't the reason?  :omf:

sounds like his biggest record is still TBIM with Brandy
he has no other 13 weeks at #1 smash
and Bran was just nominated for Best R&B vocal performance with Camper and Daniel Caesar
they both have MUCH success outside of each other
and Hard Place is not even a big chart hit, its pretty much just critical acclaim

I agree. I don't think Rodney and Brandy should EVER be together again.  I've said that.  I like her music better with timbaland.  Y'ALL like full trash, not me. I'm just stating the fact that brandy hasn't seen mainstream success outside of Rodney.  No need to feel a way about it,  it's just the truth.  I prefer the artist brandy that does the Afrodisiac, B7 music tho
