I think HYE would've been better just in terms of Billboard success and reminding but at this point I'm hype she's even doing this so "almost made you love me" it is...

ADC is just safe for Brandy. She feels the most comfortable with it.

IMO it's the song she is most comfortable singing live. I feel like it started during the Human era I think when the track stopped playing and she sang that acapella and the crowd went off. I don't recall sis really going up for ADC prior to that moment .After that she started singing it acapella at her shows .

Just my lil theory. She claims it's in "her register" and perfect for her voice . I personally feel like SITTIN should be her go to old school hit .. it's so iconic!

ADC sits in her sweet spot and allows her to show boat a lil with riffs and runs. I think that's why she chooses it. Besides the fact it's an amazing song...

Idk guys...when I think of quintessential Brandy, I think of ADC. Maybe it's based on where you grew up but that's the song I remember the most from Brandy in her prime.

But I think in this case and occasion, HYE would've been more appropriate b/c that's her solo #1 hit. The demographic for this show and it being the Billboard Awards it would've more sense to choose as her throwback song... regardless I hope she kills it and makes it a moment that people remember forever

I agree with what u said but it's this too. It's in the perfect spot for her voice and doesn't require her to push too much,  reach to high,  etc.  If she chooses to color it up then she can but she doesn't have to.  With that said,  it's a pretty lackluster song and I wouldn't be mad at her choosing another song. I like ADC but not enough for it to be like some staple song for her
